How Teen Patti works
- 01
Read the boot and limits
Check the initial contribution, permitted action sizes, player count and selected variant.
- 02
Receive three cards
Choose blind or seen play only under the options allowed at that table. Viewing a hand can change the permitted action.
- 03
Follow each turn
Continue or fold according to the displayed rules. Sideshow eligibility and costs are not identical on every table.
- 04
Compare eligible hands
A show uses the selected ranking order and tie rules. A special variant may change the usual result.
Standard hand order
Trail
Three equal-rank cards, also called a trio.
Pure sequence
Three consecutive cards sharing one suit.
Sequence
A three-card run without one common suit.
Colour
Three same-suit cards that are not a run.
Pair
Two cards of one rank with a third card used where tie-breaking requires it.
High card
A hand outside the higher categories; compare ranks according to the rules.
Teen Patti formats
Classic
Uses the standard ranking categories, with table-specific ace and tie rules.
Muflis
Lower hands become stronger under a reversed comparison system.
Designated jokers
One or more card ranks act as substitutes. Read which combinations and comparisons remain valid.
AK47-style rules
Aces, kings, fours and sevens may act as jokers when that exact variant is selected.
Know the table before a hand
- Learn the six standard categories in order.
- Read the seen and blind action rules separately.
- Check the selected variant at the start of a new table.
- Choose a limit and be comfortable folding within it.
Settings, round costs and timing
Review the selected game’s entry conditions, round cost and action windows. A reel spin, a card-table turn and a live multiplier round do not share one timing model.
Actual limits and available modes belong in the released app’s game information. This website sets no minimum stake and confirms no cash-play format.
Choose a session limit before starting. A previous result is not a reason to raise it.
Rules, randomness and records
Every seat should use the same dealing, comparison and action rules. The table should explain how tied hands and special variants are evaluated. A concept image cannot demonstrate the fairness of a released game.
Misunderstandings to avoid
- Confusing a same-suit colour with a consecutive pure sequence.
- Carrying classic ranking assumptions into a reversed variant.
- Overlooking the contribution required for a show.
- Continuing a hand only to recover earlier spending.
Teen Patti terminology
